Series: The Story of Us Trilogy (Book 3) Author: Sydney Jamesson Release Date: May 23, 2013 Published By: SJ Publishing, United Kingdom Tour Sponsor: Social Butterfly

Welcome to the concluding part of the Touchstone Trilogy that has been eagerly anticipated

These are the main characters in the trilogy

and here for your eyes to feast upon is a synopsis of the book

Synopsis
What would you give to save the one you love? Ayden Stone and Elizabeth Parker are soul mates. They have played at love, succumbed to the magnetic pull of destiny, and forgiven themselves and each other for misadventures in life and love. Now they must look to the future and forever, bearing the scars of battles they have fought and won, together. To keep a promise, one of these fateful lovers must make an agonizing choice and commit to an impossible task; to embark upon an adventure filled with magical moments and unforgivable acts of personal sacrifice. But...with great self-sacrifice comes betrayal. TouchStone for ever is the culmination of an epic love story written in the stars, involving a contemporary Princess and her charming Prince. Readers will experience blazing passion, the anguish of a broken heart and every emotion in between as Beth Parker shares her thoughts and feelings about love, life, and a desperate wish for her happy ever after. Sleeping Beauty has awakened from a great sleep but, sadly, not all fairy tales have a happy ending...not even when you belong together for ever, and you're prepared to give... Everything!

My Writing Process Blog Tour

My Writing Process Blog Tour

Well I didn't run fast enough in the playground (again!), so got tagged by Shaun Allan of Flip and Catch Blog. Shaun has asked me to undertake a blog post and answer some questions about "My Writing Process"! I agreed, (I could only take the Chinese burns on my wrists for so long before I caved!), so here we go.

I possibly use a very different approach to a lot of my fellow authors, but that is okay, as I believe it is the results that matter, more than the process used.

All the same, I am always rather intrigued to learn others methods, with a view to maybe using some of their ideas myself. Sometimes, it can help to focus and learn if there is possibly a better, or easier way to approach anything in life, be it writing or anything to be honest.

Off we go then

1) What am I working on?

Currently I am working on the first book I began, over eighteen months ago now. This WIP (or work in progress as we writers like to call this!),is  called "The Prophecy Unfolds (Dragon Queen) and happens to be a big part of my life just now too.

I am also in the process of organising crowd funding for another venture of mine in my own name. A series of children's books. I can't tell you anymore about them though as, (as I have said) they are in my own name so I can't reveal any details.

2) How does my work differ from others of its genre?

I think maybe it differs because of the intricacy of the detail I am currently trying to incorporate into this book. I want this to be able to keep a readers' attention and interest, and leave them wanting more. I have so many aspects that I want to cover in this book from the fight scenes to the Steampunk aspects.

3) Why do I write what I do?

I believe I write what I do, because I write about what I love. I love science fiction, Steampunk, paranormal romance, erotica, fantasy so many different genre. I love the use of words to paint a picture and help someone feel what I feel, or maybe what I would like to feel. I want to take the reader (and myself), on a journey through the pages of my books. Teach them a little of what I know to exist in the corners of my mind. Let everyone glimpse the worlds I dream of, of the people that populate my imagination and the animals too.

4) How does my writing process work?

Well as Shaun said in his post, I am not sure it is a process as such! I have changed the way I write a little over the last eighteen months, and I am still learning, so, I expect it will change again.

In my mind's eye I have an idea, or a synopsis of what, and who, I want to write about, and it evolves from there. I have an idea of where I want the story to take me, and who I want to lead the way but sometimes the characters just take over, and change some of the details. It is as if they have a life of their own.

I start by just sitting and putting pen to paper, and when it flows, it flows. I will just continue to write by hand for as long as I am able or until I tire and need to sleep. I frequently dream about the characters in my stories so keep a notepad next to my bed on the bedside table. I then jot down anything I manage to remember about the scenes I dream of, as best I can. Sometimes they are sketchy, other times I remember lots of details.

I also like to keep list of words that evoke a response in me. That describe tactile things, such as the touch of a hand or a whispered request.I then go back to my original manuscript and place these words in the margins. I read through what I have written, editing as I go and adding these words where I think they will help the story to become more realistic, tactile, exciting or just emotional.

Generally I then type up what I have written editing this even further. Once I am happy with what I have written then finally, I will ask others to read and comment on my writing. As a nurse I was very used to someone critiquing my work, and pointing out where it could be improved.Constructive criticism can be a good thing, but ultimately what I decide I will keep in, or leave out will lie with me.

Finally I read my work out loud to myself and see how it sounds to me.

This may not be the way writers are taught to do this, but this is "MY" writing process, not others

I now have to run very fast once more to tag my next three victims.....errr authors that I hope to nominate, so that they too may share their very own writing process with you all.

So here we go and here they are........

Peter Jones, who is the author of The True Confessions Of A London Spank Daddy is my first victim.....erm author.

Peter is now a friend of mine, and I for one will be pretty interested in reading his writing process!! Maybe you will be too!

This is his Blog

http://londonspankdaddy.wordpress.com/category/true-confessions-of-a-london-spank-daddy/

Peter Jones is on Twitter, Goodreads, Facebook too and of course Amazon.

This bio is from his book

Discover an underworld of sex, spanking and submission. A world where high-powered executives and cuddly mums go to be spanked, caned and disciplined.

In this powerful and compelling book Peter reveals how his fetish was kindled by corporal punishment while still at school. How he struggled to contain it until, eventually, he discovered he was far from alone in London's vibrant, active sex scene. What he learnt on the scene helped him to understand the psychology of women who wanted to submit to submissive discipline. Many were professional women, often juggling a demanding job and family. They needed to occasionally relinquish all control, to submit totally to the will of another. Others sought a father figure who could offer them the firm security they remembered from their childhood when Daddy had been very much in control.

Chapter by chapter he reveals his clients; stories as he turns their fantasies into reality. The writing is powerful, the stories graphic and compelling.

Next up is Neil Winnington, a good friend and fellow writer and blogger

Neil writes across numerous genre, including erotica

Neil Winnington lives on the Wirral in England.

He worked in the car industry for ten years before moving into Television, where he produced motoring programmes including Kits 'n' Cruisin for the Men and Motors channel (Now back on Men and Motor's own Youtube channel), before working as a motoring journalist for various publications.

After another brief return to industry, Neil has been working on his novels and other writing projects including penning the lyrics to Emily's Song by Sam Blue, a charity song raising money and awareness for Reunite International, the lyrics a message to his own abducted daughter.

He continues to write, and raises money for Reunite to try and help other parents living with the nightmare of having a child abducted.

He writes in many genres including novels, short stories and poems, with Emily's Star being turned into an animation at the time of writing. He continues to direct both music videos and is working on plans for a new TV Series.

You can find Neil on Twitter, Amazon and at his blog here too.

Last , but no means least, my next author is E.Doug Brown, who has been working in the movies over 10 years; script writer, fiction writer, producer, director: check out THE CHOSEN ONE
.

Book Description

Have you ever thought of what it would be like if beings from another planet controlled human dreams? No? Then you are in for a treat. Enter the world of the Nightmares and the Dream Weavers, two groups of aliens at constant war with one another, aliens with the power to influence what we see in our nightly visions.

Come to a world where the Nightmares are locked in an eternal struggle with the Dream Weavers, a world where darkness grows with each Nightmare victory. Defeat seems certain when the Nightmares discover an element that will make them rulers of the cosmos.

All that stands in their way are two unsuspecting humans on Earth, one of whom holds the key to the ancient conflict, but who refuses to recognize the awesome power he holds over the aliens. Can the Dream Weavers be saved, and with them, Earth?

Joint Honours EP review for Lucky Number 8 and Book Reviews, Book Reviews.................

I was recently asked to review a new EP by the band Joint Honours a four piece band from Derby.

Joint Honours began under the name Fires and Fireplaces, forming at Derby University in 2010 their sound is an amalgamation of several different genres, from The Streets right through to The Beach Boys. In 2011 the boys reached the final of the UK’s largest band competition ’Live and Unsigned’ playing at London’s O2 arena in Indigo2. The band went on to receive regular BBC airplay and received great reviews from the likes of Radio Ones Tom Deacon and Alex Perry from the Bloodhood Gang.

Fast forward to 2014 and lead vocalists and song writers David Jackson and Simon Marles are still the core of the band and are backed by the talented Adam Stone on Bass and Max Chambers on Drums. David and Simon have played all over the country in the past couple of years and have finally taken some time out to record their new EP ‘Lucky Number 8’. This EP is a collection of some of their best work and includes fan favourite ‘Coming Together’.

Although mainly self-produced at home, the boys have been fortunate to receive production help by some of the biggest names in the UK Industry. Mastered by the same engineer that worked with Adele, The Chemical Brothers and The Kooks confirms this.

There latest EP, that is hot off the press is Lucky Number 8, and has 6  tracks. These are Coming Together, Man Overboard, Windows, No Escape, Crux and Feel Good, 6 superb tracks in total.

The first song Coming Together is an upbeat, tap your feet, very catchy tune and will have you humming along in no time. In fact I think it is now firmly lodged in my brain. Man Overboard has a very different feel to it and is very soulful.   Windows is quite different again, and once again pretty upbeat. The shortest track on the album is Crux which has very pretty harmonies, but, I really hope this one grows in to something bigger too.The final track is more upbeat once more and has a slightly different feel again to it. Fabulous EP and well worth a listen.

You can find the band here on Twitter, Soundcloud , Facebook, and their website

Books Reviews Book Reviews Book Reviews Book Reviews

I thought it was about time I posted some reviews for the various books that I have been reading recently

So here we go

The first up is a book that recently came to my attention, as I am now friends with the writer on Facebook, believe it or not? So..... I thought in order to understand and get to know him better, it would be a good idea to read this.

The book is The True Confessions of a London Spank Daddy by Peter Jones.

The True Confessions Of A London Spank DaddyThe True Confessions Of A London Spank Daddy by Peter Jones
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I wasn't sure what to expect when I began to read this book, but I could hardly put it down. It gave both a daunting and a very exciting and sensually compelling description of what it feels like to be spanked and caned!

It gave us an insight in to the mind of both a Dom, as well as someone who is a *professional* spanker. Peter gives us the sense of what it would feel like to be the person that is receiving the spanking/caning whilst also revealing the various feelings that giving these punishments produces in the Dom himself.

He shows through his the writing that there are numerous deep feelings undercurrent for both the spanker, and the spankee! While also highlighting that in the world of BDSM there are limits to what extremes people will go. This is NOT abuse he is describing but a sexual act, and a very real and popular kink. The statistics speak for themselves.

I believe Mr Jones is considering writing a follow up, I will wait with bated breath for the sequel.

Next up is a collection of short erotic stories by James Grey, the book is called

Breaking Free

Breaking FreeBreaking Free by James Grey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I loved this short anthology of four erotic tales and I would have given it 5 stars but, I just needed more of it really.

This was an interesting collection, as it gave you a bit of everything, for everyone.

The first story is really, I believe, * every man's dream* I will let you decide,(no spoilers in my reviews btw! cos they....spoil)

The second story was a stimulating and erotic chance meeting, where two strangers had a sensual interaction, then walked away ( on weak knees of course!)

The third story takes us in to the realm of *what women want*, and also what men desire too. Can you guess? well go and read it to find out them.

The final story takes us to a fantasy menage scene, a much loved favourite of the gents I believe, and a very sensual scene also.

All in one I really enjoyed this anthology and look forward to reading more of Mr Grey's writing and a very enticing set of tales from Mr Grey.

Another fantastic book I have read is Roses at Dusk by M.W Russell

Roses at Dusk (Demonic, #1)Roses at Dusk by M.W. Russell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I must admit from the beginning you realise that Marcus is a very dark character and, as the story unfolds for Hannah, Penny and Felix I just couldn't put the kindle down. Dark sexual beginning that made you want to shout out to Hannah at times. Even though you know you shouldn't really feel for Marcus, you keep holding on in case he reprieves himself. Needless to say loved this book and can't wait for the follow up to be released

The DhampireThe Dhampire by Lana Lundy
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I loved this book and it was somewhat different than some other vampire books I have read lately. Despite someone moaning about the constant "peeing" that went on this didn't spoil it for me (I am a nurse after all) Could have been worse it could have included other bodily functions! Loved all the characters particularly Chantal and also the two main characters, quite a number of twists and turns in this book also, dont want to give too much away though. Fell in love with Jason, and the twins please take a look and you will see what I mean.

About the Author

There are those moments in life when a person you respect says something to you that strikes a chord, we’ve all had them … that moment came one Parents’ Evening when I was 16. An inspirational teacher said; “Your daughter should consider a career in Journalism or as a writer, she has a vivid imagination and a flair for creative writing …” As a wide-eyed teenager, those words were music to my ears. How prophetic was it that I went on to do just that …
I have worked in Insurance, Fashion and in advertising as a Copywriter and Commercial Journalist and loved every minute of it; creative people are a lot of fun to be around. I swapped the day job for a more meaningful enterprise: having our daughter Jenna. Now 29, she’s a fiercely independent woman living the dream in Australia. She was a heavenly surprise that had me working freelance for four years, doing what I could between feeds, playgroups and afternoon lessons in preparation for starting school. It’s a ‘story’ we can all identify with, I’m sure.
I made a sideways move into teaching in 1997 and, six years later, became Head of English in a High School, making it my mission in life to introduce young people to a range of quality reading material. I try to foster a love of all things creative in my students and encourage them to find that creativity within themselves.
For as long as I can remember, I have lived with The Story of Us in my head. The fact that Elizabeth Parker is an English teacher should come as no surprise; as novelists we write, initially, about what we know … Yet, I should confess, she isn’t me but rather that young, sensitive and naïve woman we all were or still are. The difference being, she has been victimized and, because of it, remained hidden. But, unlike some characters who may have suffered at the hands of others, she is not damaged: wary yes, but not damaged. She still believes people are innately good and that is one of her many qualities. It is her propensity for compassion that allows her to invite Ayden Stone into her world when, on the face of it, he’s exactly what she doesn’t need.
So that’s me, furiously typing away until the early hours, unveiling the intricacies of a 21st century fairy-tale; creating an epic story that melds a heady mixture of romance suspense and a touch of the miraculous.

Salford City Radio gig at Salford Crescent The Moods, the Joint, JB Barrington and tons more.........

On Easter Sunday, the 20th of April I attended a gig to raise funds and awareness of the local treasure that is Salford City Radio 94.4

Salford City Radio is a non profit and multi-award winning community radio station, brought to you by more than two-hundred local people every week. They  cover everything from local sport, news, unsigned bands to specialist music shows, talk programmes and much more. No two days are the same on 94.4FM Salford City Radio and that's one of the reasons why this radio station is so exciting! Visit their schedule page to find out what’s on when and sign-up to their weekly newsletter on their homepage. They  also love getting local musicians into the studio for interviews and acoustic sessions for more information visit their unsigned page.

Through the day I had been on a Scavenger Hunt / Easter Egg Hunt throughout the afternoon at a friends house, then headed off to watch and support the bands, and a fantastic eloquent poet at this amazing gig.

As a student I attended the local Salford University but, strangely never, ever went in to The Crescent pub. This was to be put right this evening as I stayed until gone 1.30 a.m.

The original running order for the show is below but went a bit awry throughout the course of the evening, but  The Moods were well worth waiting for,so I stayed right until the end.

The afternoon kicked off at approximately 3.15 pm with the acts outlined although I only got there as J B Barrington began to perform. He opened up by telling the crowd how he was enjoying his celebratory weekend, not because of Easter but because he bought his Mam a mobile phone 4 years ago and yesterday was the first time she sent a text....... then he did the first poem....

The running order for J B Barrington went like this;

1: Me Mam Dunt Like To Text
2: Things Me Mam Used To Say
3: Grapes Of Wrath
4:Hotel Costa Five Euros (new one never performed before all about the ridiculous extra charges when you get on your holiday)
5: The Blistering Sun
6: Spanish Dolls
7: Chinese Copper
8: When I've Gone
9: The Boy Wonder (a new one never performed before ........ its about Paul Weller)
10: The Battle Of Barton Moss (new one never performed before)
11: Motosave

As some of you know I am a Salford lass myself, and both my parents were Salford folk and I still call mum, mam lol, so this poetry is like going home for me. I was so pleased when I won a copy of   J B's book and a CD of his poetry too, which he very kindly signed to Scarlett, for me.

A lot of talented people have come from Salford including Albert Finney (the actor, who lived near my mam and dad, who's own dad was a bookies runner), and Shelagh Delaney who wrote the amazing Taste of Honey. She went on to write for Broadway, and she also incidentally used to babysit for me, and put my hair in rags as a child.

The only aspect that wound me up was the noisy drunks at the back, but the audience let them know in short shrift of their displeasure at the din, and of course J B took it all in his stride and carried on regardless, a consummate professional.

You can find JB here on Twitter, Facebook and his very own website here.

Next up was Blue Zen an acoustic duo from Salford (see I told you we had some talented folk from Salford didn't I?) Vocals by Danielle "MzDee" Carter and accompanied by Justin "Jay" Nuttall. Who entertained us all with some haunting melodies. They cite their influences to be as far ranging as Joni Mitchell to Black Sabbath. I caught them at The Walrus in Manchester at one of their open mic night a while back. Well worth a listen.

You can find them on Facebook

Next up was a brilliant band from Liverpool who put up with a LOT of banter from the audience. But went on to win over the audience in no time at all. They were Joe Symes and the Loving Kind.

These lads are a five piece band who describe themselves as an acoustic rock group.
Joe Symes, lead Vocals/Guitar/Harmonica, Colin White on Drums/Percussion/Backing Vocals,
Paul Hetherington on Guitar/Synth Guitar, Chris Giblin on Bass Guitar and finally Dave Skilling on Keyboards

Also not every band gets the privilege to play at Noel Gallagher and The High Flying Birds Official After Show Party but Joe Symes & The Loving  Kind did, and a very talented band they are. JS&TLK have also been invited to be the support act for Steve Cradock (Paul Weller / Ocean Colour Scene) at the 02 Academy, Liverpool as well as The Blockheads at the iconic Erics in Liverpool. At the Scala, London they shared the stage with Bloc Party, ALT J and XFM.  JS&TLK's Their brilliant debut album came to the attention of the legendary Alan McGee, who immediately booked them onto his 359 Records night at District, Liverpool.

This is their debut album

You can find Joe Symes and the Loving Kind here at their website, YouTube, Facebook, Reverb Nation, and finally Twitter.

Following this was a band I saw for the first times at Jackson's Pit in Oldham. The fabulous band The Joint.
Once again took the audience by storm and had us tapping our feet and dancing too. The band are a three piece band, that set up in 2009. Their line up is John Horrocks on guitar and vocals, Gary Horrocks on bass, and finally, Adam Cunningham on the drums. They cite their influences as being everything! I love an eclectic mix so have absolutely no problem with that.

You can find The joint here on Twitter,  and Facebook.

Now was time to see another band I had heard of, but never seen at a gig, Death to the
Strange. The line up of the band is as follows. Daniel Clarke on guitar and vocals, John Lowndes on guitar/vocals, Paul Sewell on bass, Sam Toro on guitar, and finally Jamie Wilson on the drums. The band hail from Salford and Manchester, and I have to admit theirs was one of the liveliest performances of the evening. I loved the way the lead singer kept breaking out spontaneously in to song. Kept us, and his bandmates on their toes too. Although I think this may be par for the course.

Fronted by their two songwriters, Death to the Strange's distinct and complementary voices certainly engage social and philosophical issues over sounds ranging from indie, to psychedelia, to skiffle. Death to the Strange have a growing list of high profile supports including Babyshambles, Gomez, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, James Walsh of Starsailor and Mark Morriss of the Bluetones. Their successful debut single 'Sign On' was accompained by a music video directed by Emmerdale's Jason Merrells and featuring actors Sammy Winward and Dominic Brunt. Sold-out headline events in Manchester announced the release of the 'Sign On' EP and single Another amazing band to watch. See, I told you there was talent in them there hills, well in Salford and Manchester (and as it would seem Liverpool), in any case.

 The band will be off touring;
16th// Live Lounge, Blackburn
25th// Audlem Festival, Audlem
26// Lowry Outlet Food Festival, Salford
31// South Sea Live, Sheffield
Go and check them out if you can You will not be dissapoiinted

You can find them on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube

Last, but by no means least up were the amazing Moods who I saw alongside of The Joint and
J B, at Oldham. When some of the lads invited me to this gig, how could I resist (despite my sore feet from dancing at Oldham!) They never let me down either, another amazing set from this fantastic foot stamping, get up dancing, band. I loved the rabbit ears. Although, to be honest all I could think of was Tank Girl when I saw them (the ears that is!)

The line up for The Moods, is as follows. They are a five piece band from Manchester, and the band was originally formed in early 2000. Since that time the line up changed a little, but has been the same since 2009, and consists of Mark Cunningham on vocals, Paul Holmes on drums and keyboards, Philip Horrocks on drums and keyboards,  Chris Barrett drums and finally Dave O'Rourke on bass. Once again they provided an eclectic range of music from reggae, dance, indie and beyond. They certainly had me tapping my feet and dancing around, and I wasn't alone either.

The gig went on until the wee small hours of the morning but well worth it. They managed to raise some money towards the cause and also raise the profile too. We really need to support our local communities.

You can find The Moods here on Twitter, Facebook and Reverb Nation.

Gig Review for Berlin Berlin, Puppet Rebellion,The Reveurs and a Matt Fryers at Academy 3 in Manchester

I recently attended a gig in Manchester at the Academy 3 on the 19th of April, Saturday.

I was invited by my good friends Puppet Rebellion, as they were support to Berlin Berlin. Of course, as I love the Puppets I had to accept

Matt Fryers was first up, a solo acoustic guitar/songwriter, but don't be fooled by the Mohawk, although this also says a lot about this young man. He  sings and plays so soulfully that it pulls you in to the story. I have listened to him on souncloud this week and the more I hear him, the more I love his style. A little gritty and soulful with songs for the soul. Pop over to soundcloud and have a listen, you will NOT be disappointed I assure you.

You can find Matt on Twitter, Facebook, soundcloud and ReverbNation

For bookings and information contact Stacey Knowles (@wolfiedoodles) mattfryersmusic@gmail.com

Matt is playing at the Thirsty Scholar see below for details

Next up were The Reveurs a four piece rock / indie band, who had the crowd going wild, dancing fit to bust too.

Formed in late 2013, the band consists of Gary Nelson (vocals, guitar), Iain Brewster (guitar/backing vocals), Thom Bedford (bass, backing vocals) and Ben Devenport (drums), combining their musical inspirations and talents to come up with a sound and style that is an intense, unique and lyrically exciting audio journey. The previous quote was stolen audaciously from their website.

The band are signed up to Scruff of the neck records who you can find on Twitter , who are an independent record label based in Manchester.

You can find The Reveurs on Twitter,  Facebook , soundcloud and their website.

You can catch up with The Reveurs on the 22nd of May, Thursday at The Roadhouse, Manchester

Next up, my mates Puppet Rebellion, who tonight had their new drummer join the line up, Danny Moss formerly of the band Last Party.  . Bittersweet, as it is very sad to say goodbye to Chris Carcamo, their original drummer. Fabulous set and one of my ( and a lot of other people's faves) The Greatest Lie Ever Told (the first track I ever heard from them. ) This had people up, dancing and singing along. The acoustics at the Academy made the Puppets sound the best I have ever heard them. These gorgeous boys are going to go far, mark my words. Always ready to come and chat to you after they have come off stage too.

Back in February  I watched Puppet Rebellion launch their latest EP No Means Yes at Gullivers in Manchester to a packed audience and have seen their following grow ever since their debut. The band have so far released two critically acclaimed EPs, Chemical Friends and No Means Yes.

The line up for the band is now is Si Monaghan, singer and frontman, Danny Moss on drums, Paul Trochowski -guitars, Jim Halliwell on bass guitar and finally Craig Gibson -guitars. Puppet Rebellion were formed in January 2013

Their play list included The Greatest Lie Ever Told, Piroutte, and Tame Impostor.

Find them on Twitter, Facebook Soundcloud,,  website and finally YouTube

Go on , go and give the lads a like and a follow

Tell them Scarlett sent you

.

And now for the headliners at this event, a band I had never seen before but look forward to seeing more of in future, Berlin Berlin.

The band line up consists of Jonny Holland -vocals/keys, Stuart Winnington - guitar/keys, and Jordan Hunstone last but not least on the drums. They signed to the new Manchester record label MUK Records in January last year after virtually stealing the show when guesting at the labels launch party the previous October.

Their debut single Josef, an electronica/art house hybrid, was released on the 7th of July last year accompanied by a launch party at Manchester's Soup Kitchen.

Radio support has been garnered by the likes of XFM's Eddie Temple Morris and caught the attention of The Daily Mirror, Digital Spy, Yahoo, American tastemaster Idolator and had The Huffington Post asking "are these the new Killers?"......

Their latest EP Geography will be available on MUK Records from the 19th of May 2014, and will include a fantastic cover version of the Furniture track Brilliant Minds, a particular favourite of mine. I sang along and danced to this as they played this at the Academy.

Berlin Berlin play list was as follows;

Josef (debut single) - http://youtu.be/Lcf4h_Xm95Q
